Another focal point of our clinic is the treatment of children with asthma and neurodermatitis.
Dr. Silke Glienke is a certified trainer for asthma and neurodermatitis and has conducted her training at the state’s largest children’s rehabilitation hospital in Wangen (Allgäu), that is specialized in treating juvenile asthma and skin diseases.
Lung function exams are conducted using spirometry, including provocation, the allergologic diagnostic consusts of skin prick tests, epicutan tests and lab results for specific antibodies (RAST).
We conduct hyposensibilizations, in cases of injection phobia also by sublingual immune therapy tablet. Cost coverage by your health insurance provider needs to be confirmed in those cases.
