Dr. York Glienke was born in Sindelfingen and went to school in Böblingen. He studied medicine and received his doctorate at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich.
After internships in Ingolstadt, at the Free University in Berlin, the Albertine-Hospital in Hamburg and Mary’s Hospital in Brandenburg on the Havel, he continued his education abroad: He practiced internal medicine as a chief resident in the UK, Ireland and Australia.
In Namibia and South Africa he deepened his knowledge of surgery and OB / gyn. Through his two years in the emergency room in Melbourne he holds the highest Australian certification in adult emergency medicine.
Dr. York Glienke joined the family practice in 2006. Through his diverse background he can offer a broad spectrum from surgery and orthopedics to internal medicine.
In close cooperation with the League against Rheumatic Diseases one of the focal points of his practice is to care for auto immune disorders such as collagenosis, Hashimoto Thyroiditis and Multiple Sclerosis.
